Once the product is opened, Proculin eye drops may be used for 28 days, and then disposed of, unlike the old glass packing of Proculin, which was to be disposed of within 8 days. That is one of the reasons why a new, modern, plastic packing has been introduced.
Do not use Proculin while wearing contact lenses. It is recommended that the contact lenses are reinserted 15 minutes following the administration of Proculin.
The expiry period of a multi-purpose solution for cleaning, moisturizing and disinfection of contact lenses, Proculin LENS, is 3 years, i.e. 90 days after the opening.
The product is intended for all types of contact lenses, including silicone hydrogel ones.
The period is indefinite. Still, using a new case with each new packing of Proculin Lens is recommended, as it comes free with the packing itself.
The expiry period of artificial tears - Proculin TEARS is 2 years, i.e. 30 days after the opening.
Do not use Proculin TEARS while wearing contact lenses. Remove the lenses prior to administering the artificial tears.
